 Putting a 12arm in a 20Motor?
« Thread Started on Oct 12, 2004, 4:36am »

Hi I have a Grp20 Motor and was thinking about putting a Grp12 arm in it. Any thoughts on this.
Will the arm fit and what change in the air gap will this have on motor performance.
Looking at Grp12 & 20 Motors they look almost the same, is it just the arm and different thickness magnets that is the major difference.

yes they will fit, if your Gp20 is .513" dia.
look at some cataloges and its the magnet strength
that is different between Gp20 and Gp12 production motors.
